Kristjan Randalu – piano

Kristjan Randalu is among the Estonian pianists who are proficiently active on an international scale and his stage partners are the pioneers of improvisational music across the globe. Thanks to his versatile creative activity, Randalu has represented Estonia at esteemed jazz festivals and grand concert stages, being sought after both as a jazz and classical musician and composer.

In 2018, Randalu published an album of his own music titled Absence by ECM Records. The duo-album with Dave Liebman titled Mussorgsky Pictures Revisited (BMC Records) launched in 2020 was among the jazz albums of the year according to The New York City Jazz Record. In 2020, Randalu received the Cultural Award of the Republic of Estonia.
